Our Clinic’s
Claire Armitage Hearing has two clinic locations in Lincoln, and home visits are available too. Everything is by appointment only, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6.30pm. Both clinics are equipped with the most up to date equipment, so you receive the same accurate testing and the same standard of care at either location.
Bailgate Clinic, The Lincoln Private Hospital

Claire’s Bailgate clinic is based at The Lincoln Private Hospital. Appointments here cover everything Claire offers, including hearing tests, tympanometry testing, tinnitus assessments and treatment, hearing aid consultations and fittings, and hearing aid repairs, servicing and aftercare.
Claire’s Home Clinic
Claire’s second clinic is at her home. For privacy the address is not published, and it will be given to you when you book. The same full range of services is available here, from hearing tests and hearing aid fittings through to tinnitus assessments and hearing aid repairs.

If you are housebound, home visits are available locally. Please call 01522 567081 to discuss a home visit.

Yes. Claire carries out tinnitus assessments and can talk you through ways to make it less intrusive, including advice, sound therapy and hearing aids where there is hearing loss. There is currently no cure for tinnitus, so the aim is to reduce how much it affects you.. Claire doesn’t offer either of these services.
Claire offers ongoing adjustments, servicing and check-ins to make sure your hearing aids keep working for you.
No. Claire needs to assess your hearing before she can recommend and fit hearing aids, so a hearing test is always part of the process. It also means any hearing aid she recommends is based on your actual results. Full diagnostic hearing tests are done prior to all hearing aid fittings.
Claire carries out a full diagnostic assessment to establish exactly what’s happening with your hearing, including testing suitable for ENT consultant referrals.
No, you can book directly with Claire. She also accepts referrals from GPs and ENT consultants.
